Belinda Bencic announced the birth of a baby girl, Bella, her first child.
The former Olympic gold medalist and longtime boyfriend Martin Hromkovic welcomed the baby on April 23.
“Bella , 23.4.2024, Our love 🩷” their joint caption on Instagram read.
The 27-year-old former World No.4 was welcomed into the club by the mother of several top players and coaches. Barbara Rittner, Carla Suarez Navarro, Donna Vekic, Yanina Wickmayer and Ajla Tomljanovic are among those who sent congratulatory notes.
Bencic last competed at the 2023 San Diego Open in September – ranked number 15 in the world at the time. He earned two titles in 2023 and was 31-13 overall.
