Mauricio Pochettino 'done' at Chelsea with 'great' manager 'available'
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly “done” at Stamford Bridge, and another potential replacement is “up for discussion”.
Pochettino says Chelsea could be 'worse'
It hasn't been the best of campaigns for Pochettino at Stamford Bridge, with Tuesday's 5-0 humiliation at Arsenal a blow for the Blues. Speaking after the game, Pochettino applauded his team's inconsistency, saying: “We show this inconsistency and that is why we are here.
“We are able to perform in an amazing way [against Man City] then there is one like this. When we have bad days, we are very bad. “It is difficult to talk, we are talking about last season in the same way.
“We played very well at Wembley and today, you can lose a game to Arsenal but the way we competed, why the other day, three days ago and today like this? Because of this situation, we needed to make changes for different reasons.

Pochettino “done” at Chelsea with Amorim “available”
TEAMtalk shared a major update from Chelsea 48 hours ago, revealing that Arsenal's heavy defeat could spell Pochettino's death. In fact, several members of the club and board believe Pochettino is “finished” as Chelsea manager, with the loss at the Emirates leading to “huge chaos” behind the scenes.
Several players think the Argentine's position is unacceptable and that he is “a dead man walking”, and the Blues have been informed that Sporting CP manager Ruben Amorim is “available for negotiations”.
Amorim has been heavily linked with a move to England this summer, with Liverpool, West Ham and Manchester United, and Chelsea appear to be the latest destination for the Sporting CP boss ahead of the 2024/25 season.
The 39-year-old had a short spell in charge of SC Braga before taking over at Sporting in 2020 and has made a name for himself by winning four trophies with his current employers. Amorim, who play in a 3-4-3 formation are on course to win the league and cup double before leaving this summer.

He has been praised by Tottenham right back, Pedro Porro, who recently praised him as a “great coach” after hearing rumors that he might move to England. “Everyone knows what kind of coach he is, he does things very well, he is a top-level coach. I wish him all the best, but I have nothing good to say about him.”
