NBA, Amazon agree on streaming rights

The NBA is closing in on a deal with Amazon Prime Video to become its primary broadcast partner for the next decade, along with ESPN. The plan would see ESPN drop its games from about 100 to about 80.

An Amazon Prime Video package can include regular season games and postseason games, possibly even conference finals. The agreement is expected to start in 2025-2026 and last for at least ten years.

The NBA aims to include at least three companies in its new broadcast deals, leaving TNT to compete with NBC for the final package.
