Kevin Durant Speaks Out About Anthony Edwards' Latest Viral Taunt
Kevin Durant responded to Anthony Edwards' viral celebration during Game 3 of the Phoenix Suns' first-round series against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Edwards' stunts came when the Timberwolves were up 118-99 with 2:54 left in the fourth quarter, seconds away from taking a 3-0 lead.
“You win the game, do whatever you want,” Durant said the next day.
It was a very disappointing season for Phoenix, who had high expectations this year due to having three star players on their roster.
Instead, they now find themselves 3-0 down and staring at an early exit.
Durant said he didn't sleep at all following Game 3. When asked if the lack of sleep was due to the loss, he said, “That comes from life itself.
He continued to give direct answers in all his media availability:
Why haven't the Suns been able to sustain good streaks?
Kevin Durant: “I don't know, I wish I could answer you better.”
What areas led to Game 3 getting out of hand?
“Everyone.”
Is the rotation due to lack of familiarity?

Frustration levels are clearly running high in Phoenix. While the Suns may be the first team to come back from 3-0, they will be playing for pride from here on out.
Without a miracle, a difficult summer is coming to Phoenix, where the Suns need to seriously doubt whether they want to stick with Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal, or shake things up through the trade market.
All three players are under contract for next season and will be owed $149.4 million next season, which is more than the 14 NBA teams each team has committed to in 2024-25.
