Mavericks and Clippers React to Longest Playoff Game Ever
The Mavericks and Clippers just completed the most exciting matchup of this year's postseason so far.
This confusing contest saw the Clippers build a seemingly insurmountable lead of 31 points. Dallas then came back all the way, only to fall short in the dying moments and fall 116-111, with the series now tied at 2-2.
It was a night full of spectacular shooting, highlighted by Kyrie Irving finishing over three Clippers defenders, and James Harden taking over late in the period with 13 points in the final 4:39.
This is indisputable and straight up madness from Kyrie Irving, if he had done this in the 1960s, they would have accused him of witchcraft. pic.twitter.com/M93zojuMDP

Harden finished with 33 points, six rebounds and seven assists on 12-17 shooting, while Irving posted 40 points, seven rebounds and five assists, although he had seven turnovers.
Luka Doncic, meanwhile, had 29 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, but struggled to shoot the ball, finishing 10-24 from the field.
Speaking after the game, Doncic said he didn't do enough to help Irving lead Dallas to victory.
“I have to help him a lot, I feel like I'm letting him down to be there,” said Doncic. “I have to help him a lot, he gives everything he has. He's been good for us all season.”
Doncic added that his knee continues to give him grief, but he said that is not an excuse.
Meanwhile, Harden said that his good performance was the result of his enthusiasm for the game, knowing that he must stand up and give his team a chance to go without Kawhi Leonard.
“I'm blessed to be able to turn it into a facilitator or a scorer,” Harden said. “My mindset is that when I come to this team, I will do anything to win and reach the end. Whether that's scoring goals or assists, I think it's going to be game-by-game management.”
The Clippers and Mavericks will return to LA for Game 5 on Wednesday with the series tied 2-2.
