Victor Wembanyama's Spurs will play two regular season games in Paris in 2024-25.

Victor Wembanyama said last month that his friend and fellow Frenchman Rudy Gobert will be a worthy winner of the 2023-24 NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award. But Wembanyama also added that, in the coming seasons, he, not Gobert, will lead the way. Their NBA peers, however, feel that Wembala's time has come. Players have voted the Spurs' top rookie as the league's best defenseman right now. Iwembanyama leads the league in blocks, averaging 3.58 per game.
