MVP award: Big gaps between first and last votes
It has been a disappointing season for the team Kevin Durant, but a brilliant individual that earned him an MVP vote in the NBA polls. With that vote, it's been a 14-year gap since he appeared in the MVP polls for the first time in 2010.
Only five NBA legends had a wider gap between their first and last MVP votes, which speaks to Durant's longevity at the highest level.
