President Joe Biden made a gaffe on stage, inappropriately referring to WNBA star Candace Parker as a “coach.” The flub happened during an event at the White House to celebrate the Las Vegas Aces' 2023 championship.
Biden tried to praise Parker, who couldn't attend, but lashed out at him by calling him a coach.
“Even though he wouldn't be here,” he said of the recently retired Ace, “I want to acknowledge someone we consider the greatest coach of all time – Candace Parker.”
