Live Results of George Kambosos Vs. Vasily Lomachenko Tonight

The moment of truth has arrived for George Kambosos, who also fights boxing champion Vasily Lomachenko in tonight's main event for the vacant IBF lightweight title, live on ESPN on the Top Rank promoted program at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia.

B24 will provide live updates of the results below the card.

Pedro Guevara (42-4-1, 24 KOs) used his punching and body attack to win Andrew Moloney (26-4, 16 KOs) via a 12-round split decision to win the interim WBC super flyweight title.

The scores were 115-113, 115-113 for Guevara, and 116-113 for Moloney. After the fight, the 33-year-old Moloney announced his retirement. He has two of his last three fights, and it was obviously a bitter pill for him to swallow being beaten by Guevara. Moloney was brutally knocked out by Junto Nakatani in the 12th round last year in May.

Undercard

– Nina Hughes vs. Cherneka Johnson
– Andrew Moloney vs. Pedro Guevara

Kambosos: Miracle Worker or One-Hit Wonder?

I watched Kambosos' last three fights well; I think he would need a little miracle to defeat the highly skilled Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs) in their 12-round title fight.

It goes without saying that the 30-year-old Kambosos (21-2, 10 KOs) is six years younger, bigger, and fighting at home in Australia.

Lomachenko, 36, is on a different level than him; based on his novice pedigree and professional accomplishments, this will be his walk in the park over Kambosos.

The only notable win in Kambosos' career came against Teofimo Lopez, and that was just luck for him. He stumbled into a situation where he was fighting a guy who was basically fighting at 50% capacity that night.
