Leeds captain Ampadu is happy to silence the critics as Norwich sweep aside
Captain Ethan Ampadu was delighted that Leeds United were able to answer their critics by reaching the play-off final against Norwich City 4-0 this evening.
Leeds' hopes of automatic promotion hit the skids in the final weeks of the regular season with Leicester City and Ipswich Town vying for the top two spots.

But, following a two-goal draw at Carrow Road in the first leg on Sunday, Daniel Farke's men are back on track to sweep past Norwich and set up a Wembley date with either Southampton or West Brom next weekend.
Ilia Gruev, Joel Piroe, Georginio Rutter and Crysencio Summerville were all on target in a one-sided encounter that delighted a raucous Elland Road crowd.
Ampadu told Sky Sports: “At the end of the season there was a lot of talk about the way we were playing, we weren't ahead, we weren't violent or they were sick.
“But we always believed that in our day, if we shoot, it would be difficult for anyone to play with him.
“When the front four, five, six players play like that, they make the job of our defenders a lot easier.”

Leeds will go to Wembley full of confidence after that game with Ampadu adding: “No matter who we play in the final it will be a tough game but coming in like this, doing a job like this, we can take momentum and confidence.” in it.
“The fans have been fantastic and we've enjoyed their support – now we're getting ready for the big one.”
While Leeds were excellent, the same cannot be said for Norwich, who were hopelessly outclassed in all areas of the pitch.
Canaries manager David Wagner admitted: “It wasn't a good game for us.
“I think tonight, everything you're not supposed to do, we did. We were second in the duels and it's a disappointing night and end to the season.
“We knew we had to try to stay in the game but we did the opposite, conceding three goals in the first half.”
He added: “It's quiet in the dressing room at the moment. I haven't really talked about the game yet, because right now the disappointment is too great.
“It was a very stressful season. It wasn't a regular season and now it's over.
“It is important to reflect now. Unfortunately, the fairy tale does not have a happy ending.”
