PSG made a decision for Kylian Mbappe's team for the last match of Ligue 1
Kylian Mbappe was left out of Paris Saint-Germain's squad for their final Ligue 1 game of the season on Sunday.
Mbappe will leave the French giants when his contract expires this summer and saw his last home game end in defeat last week.
The France captain, who recently teased his next move ahead of a move to Real Madrid, will miss Sunday's trip to Metz with the Ligue 1 title wrapped up after being left out of the matchday squad.
Mbappe was absent from PSG's midweek win over Nice, where Bradley Barcola and Yoram Zague scored enough to win, due to muscle discomfort.
In his absence, manager Luis Enrique will look to the likes of Barcola, Marco Asensio and Goncalo Ramos among others to provide a goal threat. The Spaniard is also without Ousmane Dembele, Marquinhos, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Vitinha and Fabian Ruiz.
However, Mbappe is still expected to play in PSG's last game of the campaign which is coming to the final of the Coupe de France against Lyon next Saturday.
Mbappe confirmed his decision to leave the Paris outfit at the start of May and Madrid hope to announce his arrival at the Bernabeu after the Champions League final, although a deal is yet to be finalised.
The 25-year-old has scored a career-high 27 goals in Ligue 1 this season, helping his side win their third consecutive title and 12th overall. However, his dream of winning a first Champions League title came to a disappointing end in the semi-finals as they lost 2-0 on aggregate to Borussia Dortmund.
Had they progressed, PSG would have met Madrid in the final at Wembley Stadium in early June.
