This little bump that is clean and runs into the hole is a thing of real beauty.
No golf crowd can resist giving this kid a big cheer.
That's right, his teammate is the one who scored the best.
Great moments like this are what the game is all about.
PGA Jr. The League is committed to enriching lives through experiences beyond golf.
What started as an idea written on a napkin has grown to more than 71,000 kids playing on teams across the United States.
While the program has evolved to include expanded age divisions, year-round play and an enhanced All-Star experience for competing players, the commitment to the principles of Safety, Care and Organization remains strong.
PGA Jr. The League is the flagship youth program of the PGA of America's 501 (c)(3) foundation, PGA REACH.
They envision a world where the PGA Jr. League is accessible to every child, everywhere, regardless of background or situation.
Believing that golf is collective, and everyone deserves to feel a deep sense of belonging in healthy and caring communities.#
PGA Jr. League is changing the way youth golf is learned and played, including the adoption of league play, club golf and flag and points.
After each round of the PGA Jr. League has a PGA coach that provides a safe, caring and structured environment for every child to be (and stay) golfing.
These experts in the game are given the flexibility to create a training program that works best for their players and families.
Their teams are part of the leagues, organized together to play and maintain the status of the local league.
Some leagues can be held entirely in one place under a PGA coach.
These indoor leagues consist of many teams that train and play at the same venue each week, although some indoor leagues may travel to other facilities for friendly matches or Match Days.
Other leagues can be formed at multiple locations, where teams take turns visiting golf courses and playing against each other.
Each team is divided into pairs of two people (or three if substituted) who play together in games.
All PGA Jr. Tournaments League is played in a two-person hack format. This means that both players of the pair hit drives. The best shot is selected, then each player plays from the selected position, and this process continues until the ball is blocked.
The scramble format is important in allowing everyone to hit shots and contribute to the team. PGA Jr. The league uses game rating, which focuses on performance against the average rating as is common in golf.
Inside the PGA Jr. League, two-way tie, 9-hole match. Each game is divided into three flags. Each flag has three holes in a row, and each team has a chance to earn points at the end of each flag.
