LaMelo Ball is accused of running over a child's foot

A mother is suing Charlotte Hornets star LaMelo Ball and the team. Angell Joseph was 11 years old at the time. He is now 12 years old. Tamaria McRae says last October 7, after the Charlotte Hornets game, fans were outside the stadium, going up to the players as they left. “[Angell] it was like, 'LaMelo, I love you. I love you, sign my … give me your autograph. Can you sign it for me?' McRae told Action 9's Jason Stoogenke. He says Ball didn't sign anything and drove off. “I just saw my son go down and I thought maybe someone was dropping him,” she said. But he says Angell didn't throw anything away, the ball that hit his foot, broke it.
