Blair, 'The Flair' Cobbs is predicting an early victory over former four-division world champion Adrien Broner next month in their welterweight fight on June 7 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Florida.
Doubts Surround Broner's Commitment
Boxing fans still doubt whether Broner (35-4-1, 24 KOs) will make it to this fight, as they feel that the 34-year-old is not in the game right now.
AB will have to do it because the southpaw Cobbs (16-1-1, 10 KOs) will teach him boxing and may beat him if he is not 100% ready for this fight.
Cobbs is coming off a ten-round unanimous decision win over former light welterweight champion Maurice Hooker in 2022. That was the best win of Cobbs' career, and it's unclear why he's been sidelined since. He should have used the money he won to get a big fight.
Broner is still hoping to get a big money fight against one of the big names like Devin Haney, but that won't happen unless he keeps winning and working hard. Fighting once a year won't do it.

Blair Cobbs: “I'm putting 'Can Man' in the trash. It is what it is. I hope his life continues to be successful. Blair the Flair is the #1 man in boxing today. He's ridiculous, that's why we're going to go ahead and fire him.
“We're going to throw 'Can Man' where it needs to be in the trash, and that's what we're going to do. We will handle the business the way it should be handled.”
Broner: “June 7, you better get your tickets because I'm not playing with him.” I stop him.”
Cobbs: “He'll be asking himself, 'Why did I take this fight?' And guess what? The great one will come. Blair the Flair takes over.”
Broner: “The fight will happen. I'm in great shape.”
