PSG's €100m bid to replace Kylian Mbappe has been confirmed by an agent
The agent of Napoli defender Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain have made an offer to sign the Georgian international this summer.
PSG are planning for the future without Kylian Mbappe, who will leave on a free transfer this summer. Although the French side will not receive the transfer fee, they will save around 200 million euros in costs and plan to reinvest that money into the club.
Amid reports that Kvaratskhelia is attracting attention from Saudi Arabia, the 23-year-old's agent has revealed that it is PSG who are pushing hard for him to sign.
“The interest in Kvaratskhelia from Saudi Arabia is not true,” said agent Mamuka Jugeli La Gazzetta dello Sport. “There is interest and an offer from PSG, everything depends on the decision of Napoli and its president.”
In accordance with Gianluca Di MarzioPSG's offer to Napoli is worth a whopping €100m.
News of PSG's pursuit of Kvaratskhelia comes after head coach Luis Enrique admitted he wanted more signings to help fill the void left by Mbappe's departure.
“How are we going to replace Mbappe? Four, five, six signed…whatever we can do,” he said. “What will fill Kylian's place will be the team, the fans we have and the desire for this team to win everything we will try in the coming seasons and see if we can achieve it.
“It's a big challenge for any player who wants to come here. We want to make history.” This club will soon win that long awaited Champions League. Years may pass, but he will win the Champions League next time without a doubt. “
