UX reacts to the first half of the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund
We are in the middle of the regulation period for the 2024 UEFA Champions League final, folks. Has everyone caught their breath yet?
Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid are still tied 0-0 but it was almost an uneventful half.
It was the first 45 games at Wembley. Before the game started, we were treated to Lenny Kravitz. Although not all were fans.
And when the game was going on, it had to be stopped again. Not one, not two, but three attackers can escape from security in the first minute!
Good thing Wembley didn't just spend a lot of money on security upgrades, right? OK? OK?
When the ball arrived in the right way away, it was actually Dortmund who looked the stronger side. First, Mats Hummels picked out Karim Adeyemi's run from the back, but the striker took too much of a touch on goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and his effort was denied.
Not long after, Niclas Fullkrug hit the post while Adeyemi wasted another chance to put Dortmund ahead.
We've seen this story before.
BVB were furious when Vinicius Junior, already booked, appeared to dive and evade his marching orders.
Four minutes into the break, the referee called a break. Everything is still to be played.
