Dubois Confident To Defeat Joshua After IBF Interim Title Win

Daniel Dubois says Anthony Joshua is “his next step,” and he “will do it” after his surprise eighth-round TKO over Filip Hrgovic (17-1, 14 KOs) to win the IBF interim heavyweight title on Saturday night in Riyadh . Dubois is confident of beating Joshua.

Joshua wants the IBF title, now he can fight for his title against Dubois (21-2, 20 KOs). The interim IBF title that Dubois won on Saturday night could be elevated to the title, making the fight between him and Joshua even bigger.

If Joshua agrees to fight Dubois, 26, the two will meet at Wembley in September. Luckily, Dubois didn't have any injuries during his win over Hrgovic because that would have made it difficult for him to recover in time to face Joshua in September.
