The Red Sox announced a series of big plans today, including their expected placement of a second baseman Vaughn Grissom on the 10-day list with a right hamstring injury. Joining Grissom in IL for 10 days is a perfect resource Romy Gonzalez, who had suffered a left hamstring injury. Grissom and Gonzalez will be placed in the infielder's position on the active roster Bobby Dalbec and a helpful person Jamie Westbrook. Making room for Westbrook on the 40-man roster Garrett Whitlockwho was transferred to IL for 60 days.
