Boston TV Hosts Grilled Cold for Kyrie Irving Take
Boston media personalities Brian Scalabrine and Chris Forsberg are feeling the wrath of the Internet after a year-old clip of them dissing Kyrie Irving surfaced.
The segment, which aired on NBC Sports Boston this time last year, features Scalabrine and Fosberg confidently declaring that Irving's time in Dallas will be a disaster.

At the start of the segment, Fosberg asked if Irving or Luka Doncic would be the first to seek a trade if things go wrong.
Scalabrine went even harder.
“Kyrie will request a trade in February,” he said.
Fosberg replied, “Can I have that?”
But Scalabrine was never done.
“It's not going to happen,” the former Celtic said, suggesting that Irving's time in Dallas will come to an end well before his three-year contract expires.
“… They traded Kyrie fourth in the West and moved up to 11, and they were trying to keep a draft pick,” he said. “What's going on?”
Fosberg then added sarcastically, “You have to pay $42 million to keep that chemistry going.”
Irving himself even responded in part at the time.
And now, with Irving and the Mavericks all the way to the NBA Finals (where they'll face the Celtics, of all teams), Scalabrine and Fosberg are going live on the Internet.

You probably like it @Scalabrine he didn't play. I'm expecting this from an analyst who has just started but to make a decision with little experience I'm not sure 😂

To be fair, Irving also tried to warn us here at BF about what was going to happen this season.

As it turned out, he was a man of his word.
