Erling Haaland is at it again: The Norwegian has broken many goalscoring records
Erling Haaland has once again put his name in football history, surpassing Harry Kane to hold the record for the most hat-tricks in a career for club and country.
The Manchester City striker scored his 22nd hat-trick in a recent friendly, leading Norway to a 3-0 win over Kosovo.
Haaland's performance against Kosovo was not good at all. He scored all three goals in Norway, scoring them in the 15th, 70th, and 75th minutes. This latest achievement puts him ahead of Harry Kane, who has amassed 21 hat-tricks.
In addition, Haaland's statistics surpass those of key strikers Kylian Mbappe and Sergio Aguero.
Erling Haaland breaks all goalscoring records
Since joining Manchester City, Haaland has continued to show his impressive goalscoring abilities. Nine of his 22 hat-tricks have been scored for City, and his latest hat-trick for the club was a superb four-goal performance against Wolves last month.
During his time with the club, Haaland has scored 90 goals in 98 games, an impressive tally that highlights his consistency and efficiency in front of goal.
Internationally, Haaland's impact has been equally great. His hat-trick against Kosovo brings his total to 30 goals in 32 games for Norway, underscoring his importance to the national team.
Haaland's ability to play at both domestic and international levels further cements his status as one of the most feared strikers in modern football.
Haaland's record-breaking achievements don't end with his total number of hat-tricks. He also holds several Premier League records related to hat-tricks, including being the fastest player to score two, three, four, and five hat-tricks in the league. This rapid accumulation of hat-tricks has set a new benchmark for strikers in the Premier League and added to the growing list of honors in Haaland's prolific career.
