Every current tour player carries PXG Irons in their bag

It's amazing when PXG irons fit into a PGA Tour, DP World Tour or LIV golf bag – but not because their materials aren't great.

PXG irons are generally known for their forgiveness and some look like game improvement irons.

Only a few professionals use PXG instruments, but we shouldn't draw too many conclusions about the state of their game.

A few players who use PXG irons also use mixed sets with another brand or another range of irons from PXG.

Jake Knapp, for example, uses a Srixon 2-iron alongside his PXG 0311 X 4-iron and fills his bag with PXG 0211 ST clubs from 5-iron to pitching wedge.

Knapp's PXG 0311X is a forged iron, with a hollow body but like most PXG clubs it is highly customizable to the individual.

PXG makes many products that can be used by the average golfer, but with this brand in particular we would suggest getting fitted to make sure the clubs are made to your liking.

Eric Cole is the only player on any professional tour who uses the PXG 0317 CB variety and only uses a 4-iron from this range, filling out his selection with the same PXG 0317 ST.

The CB on that club means it's a back iron, which looks very different from your typical PGA Tour irons.

Cole and Joel Dahmen both used the famous PXG blades, the 0317 STs also have a unique aesthetic.

The 0311 and 0317 ranges are aimed at better players. The 0317 irons fall into the category of advanced players, while the 0311 range are performance irons.

The PXG 0317 T Irons are the newest addition to their lineup, but no pros have had the club in their bag yet.

As a bare-bodied instrument, the PXG 0317 T is probably close to being aimed at game development, so it would be rare to see a professional come out.

The PXG 0311 range is being discontinued although the heads will still be offered to touring professionals who want to continue using them.

All PXG players are currently on tour
