France vs Canada: Preview, predictions and schedule
France completes its preparations for Euro 2024 on Sunday evening when it faces Canada in the second pre-tournament friendly.
Didier Deschamps' side cruised to a 3-0 win over Luxembourg in their first warm-up game, with Kylian Mbappe starring in a comfortable victory. Jonathan Clauss also produced an announcement as a number of French stars have expired.
Canada must prove similarly easy opponents to navigate Bordeaux as they were beaten 4-0 by France's Euro 2024 group stage side the Netherlands last week. This will be the first meeting between the two countries in more than three decades, and Les Bleus will be hoping to get a stronger score than they did when they won 1-0 in the 1986 World Cup.
Here it is 90 min heading into France's final game before heading to Germany.

France did not come out of their win over Luxembourg without worry as Bayern Munich defender Dayot Upamecano was withdrawn with a thigh problem at half-time. William Saliba is likely to start in his place on Sunday.
Aurelien Tchouameni is still recovering from the foot problem that kept him out of the Champions League final against Real Madrid, but he returned to the bench against Luxembourg.
The likes of Ousmane Dembele, Kingsley Coman and Adrien Rabiot should get minutes after not being used in the last position.
France predicted system (4-3-3): Maignan; Ama Klasi, Konate, Saliba, T. Hernandez; Rabiot, Kante, Griezmann; Dembele, Thuram, Mbappe.
Canada shouldn't be too far from the team that lost to the Netherlands last week, as key players Alphonso Davies, Jonathan David and Tajon Buchanan are likely to start.
They do have one injury concern, however, with Celtic defender Alistair Johnston ruled out of the game against the Netherlands with an injury.
Canada predicted lineup (4-4-2): St Clair; Zator, Bombito, Cornelius, Davies; Buchanan, Kone, Eustaquio, Millar; David, Larin.
After dispatching Luxembourg with little controversy last time out, France should have no problems doing the same to a goal-scoring Canadian side. Most of Jesse Marsch's stars line up in the final third, while Davies is basically a left-back winger, and they will be hard-pressed to limit the 2018 world champions.
Deschamps may make a big change in the team that defeated Luxembourg, but he will want his top players to strengthen their muscles again as they prepare for Euro 2024.
Prediction: France 4-1 Canada
