Gervonta “Tank” Davis Snubs Las Vegas Grand Arrivals Before Frank Martin Fight

Gervonta 'Tank' Davis chose not to show kindness to the media with his presence in today's big arrivals in Las Vegas for his fight with Frank Martin on Saturday night on PBC on Prime Video Pay-Per-View.

Tank's absence today cast a shadow over the promotion, causing some fans to wonder if he would be coming on Saturday.

Fans Burn the Tank on Social Media

Fans on social media felt that Tank was unprofessional by not showing the big arrival and wanted to do little to promote his event.

His trainer, Calvin Ford, was left on the stage, apparently speechless, leaving no stone unturned as to why his opponent, the 'regular' WBA lightweight champion, Tank Davis, canceled this important promotional event. Ford's excuse fell flat.

Earlier today, Tank told his Twitter followers that he wouldn't even attend the arrivals because the promotion of the event was “a**.”

What's interesting about that note is that Tank is clamoring for a promotion, yet he missed an important event to promote his war.

Tank does not want to take it upon himself to help promote his event because he had to do many interviews and post on social media.

Coach Ford Taunts Each Other With Explanations

“There's a lot on his mind,” said coach Calvin Ford to the media, explaining why Gervonta 'Tank' Davis failed to come out to the public today in his Saturday night fight against Frank Martin.

Ford's excuses sound flimsy, they did nothing to comfort the angry fans on social media who were fired up at Tank.

“That's my baby. I will support him and stand by him because that is what we should do. Everyone experiences many good and bad times. I don't know what's going on with him right now. It's not a bad thing,” Ford continued about Tank Davis.

The Show Must Go On Without a Tank

“Right now, maybe he needed to be quiet. It's been 14 months. It's time for him to be out of the ring, and he wanted to make sure he did the right thing for his fans because this is what he's been doing.

“The model we've always had is you support us, we'll fight for you, we've been doing that too,” said Ford.
