Jacob Ference's eyes sparkled in disbelief.
The Division III transfer from Salisbury came into the locker room before his first practice at Virginia and couldn't believe the expectations in his locker. No one had been arrested, filled with styrofoam peanuts or some other prank. His teammates weren't hitting on the new guy. They probably didn't pay attention to him.
