RockShox has released the new Charger 3.1 damper
RockShox has released the new Charger 3.1 damper, which will be available on other 2025 RockShox forks. RockShox also announced an update to its SuperDeluxe and Vivid rear coil shocks as well as major changes to the Trailhead App that hosts both Sram and RockShox products.
Building on the proven Charger 3 platform, RockShox has worked with its riders to make the Charger 3.1 an even more efficient fork damping machine. While reducing overall wear and tear on the system, clever internal upgrades have extended the range of Low Speed Compression (LSC) and High Speed Compression (HSC) adjustments.
A wider range of adjustments means more room to find your sweet spot and perfect riding experience. No matter where you ride, you can find your best settings. With the new Shim Tune Kits, you can customize your heater to your liking. The revised forks also feature a revised bushing package, resulting in lower friction potential for the improved system as a whole.

“We updated the pipes with a Low Speed Compression circuit to simplify the oil flow path, allowing more oil to flow through the LSC when the regulator is set to Open. 68% more oil flow. This means less compression reduction, so able to hold on to traction and manage to dampen low-speed trail noise.
During testing, our World Cup racers requested a high-speed meltdown for an even more supportive ride on the fastest tracks. We've increased the size of the High Speed Compression pyramid, to create more damping when the HSC modifier is off, so you can add the exact amount of support you need.

Revised bushing package
Our innovation initiatives represent lessons learned from all development projects. During BoXXer's recent development, we fine-tuned our ride-testing protocols and advanced testing at our Colorado Development Center. We have made improvements in our factory to ensure the highest level of manufacturing quality and consistency, all to ensure that riders get the best performance products right out of the box.
The result is a new bushing package available on all ZEB, Lyrik, and Pike models. We have developed new manufacturing specifications for re-engineering the lower legs around the new bushing sizing requirements, resulting in the lowest possible friction for an improved system as a whole.
Updated to push to perfection
Our relentless pursuit of perfection has led us to refine the curve design of Pike's air spring. We added an open top lid to increase the volume of the Pike's negative air chamber. This makes getting off the ground even easier, improving overall traction and small bump sensitivity”
