Al-Ittihad is preparing a big offer for Mohamed Salah this summer
Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad are preparing another big cash offer for Mohamed Salah according to reports.
Liverpool are entering a new era following the departure of Jurgen Klopp and the subsequent appointment of Arne Slot, and there are question marks over the future of many key players.
The Reds will want to hold on to as many of their key players as possible to make the transition following Klopp's exit as smooth as possible.
Al-Ittihad is preparing Salah's move for big money
Losing Salah would be a huge blow for Liverpool as he has been a reliable source of goals since arriving from Roma in 2017, and finding a replacement would be a difficult task.
There was interest from Saudi last summer when the sellers were willing to make Salah a Saudi Pro League boy, but he ended up staying at Anfield.
Al-Ittihad are in the process of finding a new manager with Marcelo Gallardo expected to leave the club soon, meaning any transfer activity will be put on hold until a new manager is in place.
However, Rudy Galetti says in his TEAMtalk report that Salah will be different this time as Al-Ittihad are looking to add a new winger to their ranks and the top Egyptian in their list, and the Saudis are said to be preparing a new “monster offer.”
The Saudi club already boast the likes of Fabinho, Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante in their squad, but are looking to add more quality as they finished a disappointing fifth in the league.
TEAMtalk adds that the pursuit of the Egyptian player is not moving at the pace many at Al-Ittihad would like it to happen.
Salah scored 25 goals and provided 14 assists in all competitions for Liverpool last season, and if the 32-year-old stays he could play a key role under Slot next campaign.
