The Pelicans aren't willing to give Ingram a max extension
Brandon Ingram has one year left on his five-year contract with the New Orleans Pelicans, which was signed in 2020. Trade rumors have surrounded him since before last season's trade deadline.
If Ingram stays with New Orleans, it won't be another big deal. The Pelicans are reportedly not interested in a massive extension, which would be four years and about $208.5 million through 2028-29. Without an extension, Ingram will be an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2025.
