Despite the recent changes in the Detroit Pistons front office, it appears that Monty Williams will remain as head coach.
Marc Stein reported on Substack that the Pistons have not officially announced Williams' return, but indications are that he will be staying.
The Pistons' new president of basketball operations, Trajan Langdon, has not held an introductory news conference since being named in late May.
A source told Stein that the hiring of Fred Vinson of New Orleans as an assistant coach indicates that he may retain Williams.
