Where can you watch Copa America 2024? Date, Time, TV Channels and Online Streaming

With all your attention on Euro 2024, you may have forgotten that the Copa America is happening right next to it this summer.

Argentina will host the tournament for the 15th time in 2021, defeating Brazil in the final.

But a long line of countries will be looking to wrest the title from Lionel Messi and Co and become the continent's top dogs.

The 2022 World Cup winners go in as favorites and are tipped to topple Uruguay and become the most successful nation in the tournament's history.

But the likes of Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Mexico and the United States will be keen to provide tough competition.

With games almost every day between 21 June and 15 July, you won't want to miss a single second of the game. In this article, we will tell you how to watch and stay up to date with the 2024 Copa America.

Where is the 2024 Copa America being played and when does it start?

The United States will host the 2024 Copa America as it has participated in the tournament four times before.

14 different platforms will be used across the country, meaning local launch times will also vary due to the different times in the US.

The final will be played at Hard Rock Stadium in Florida, home of the Miami Dolphins, while the semifinals will be played in New Jersey and North Carolina.

Champions Argentina will start the tournament against their rivals in Group A, Canada in the early hours of Friday for UK viewers.

After that, at least two group matches will be played a day until 3 July, before the quarter-finals are held on 5, 6 and 7 July.

A few days' break will come after the first snowball round before the semi-finals on July 10 and 11, before the grand final in Miami on July 15.

Can Argentina make history?

Argentina has been on an incredible run at major tournaments, having won the last two they have hosted.

Messi has a few years left in international games but his hunger to win another title with his country will be as intense as ever.

La Albiceleste have not lost a friendly match since 2019 and have lost in all competitions once since losing to Saudi Arabia in the World Cup two years ago.

They finished their warm-up games with a win over Guatemala and entered the tournament as strong favourites.

Who are some of the favorites?

Brazil – 2021 finalists and nine-time Copa America winners – will be Argentina's biggest threat. With the likes of Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo and Endrick running in attack, they will feel confident ahead of the tournament.

Uruguay beat Argentina and Brazil in recent World Cup qualifiers and they have some hidden gems in their squad. Darwin Nunez, Federico Valverde and Ronald Aruajo are the top three players who will help lead the third favorites into the fight.

Elsewhere, there is little to separate Mexico and the US in the books, but they are certainly dark horses, especially as the host nation will be playing in front of enthusiastic crowds.

Ecuador, meanwhile, are the outsiders, but it would really take something special to win the tournament.
