NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news to X, announcing that Jeff Van Gundy, former senior advisor to the NBA champions Boston Celtics, has finalized a deal to join Ty Lue's coaching staff as a lead assistant for the Los Angeles Clippers.
Van Gundy, known for his basketball skills, is returning to full-time coaching after years of silence. His coaching career includes successful stints with the New York Knicks and Houston Rockets, amassing 430 regular season and 44 playoff victories in 11 seasons.
