MICHELIN Guide 2024 Features 13 Los Cabos restaurants

Los Cabos is recognized in the very first MICHELIN guide of Mexico, which has 13 restaurants in the whole area, including one MICHELIN Star, two Green Stars, two Bib Gourmands and nine recommended restaurants. Los Cabos, known for its unique gastronomic offer, is known not only for its good food, but also for its stable and affordable restaurants.

One restaurant in Los Cabos – Concina de Autor, located at Grand Velas Los Cabos and led by professional chefs Sidney Schutte and Francisco Sixto – has been awarded a MICHELIN Star. This recognition highlights the restaurant's use of quality ingredients, delicious food, and consistent delivery.

Two restaurants in Los Cabos have been presented with the MICHELIN Green Star, honoring their commitment to sustainable gastronomy and an ethical future. These include Flora's Field Kitchen, led by chef Rebecca Weitzman, and Acre, located at Acre Resort and led by chef Arturo Rivero. These restaurants have demonstrated their efforts to source local products from their farms, integrating producers and artisans, reducing waste and supporting their local communities.

Flora's Field Kitchen has also been recognized with a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, as well as Metate, led by chef Abraham Tamez. These restaurants were awarded for their commitment to providing food and travelers with an exceptional gastronomic experience at affordable prices.

“We are delighted to have so many worthy restaurants in Los Cabos recognized in Mexico's first MICHELIN guide,” said Rodrigo Esponda, Executive Director of the Los Cabos Tourism Board. “Los Cabos' diverse landscape, natural environment and unique environment have positioned this area as the largest producer of organic products in Mexico. The destination's renewable agriculture allows local restaurants and chefs to provide fresh, locally caught seafood and organic produce that inspires celebrity chefs to turn gastronomy into a creative and special experience.”
