Who were the Top 10 pound for pound boxers of the 1960s?

Welcome to Part 8 of 13 from the new Boxing Survey Series, which will survey volunteers in an attempt to determine the best pound for pound boxers from each decade. In this study that focused on boxers from the 1960s, a total of 26 volunteers participated. Each volunteer provided a chronological list of between 10 and 25 names to vote for the best boxers of the 1960s.

The 1960's was a famous time in boxing history when some of the most formidable boxers competed against each other. Three of the most successful boxers competing in this decade include Muhammad Ali, Eder Jofre and Emile Griffith.

Griffith had his greatest success in the 1960s, when between 1961 and 1968, he was the undisputed welterweight world champion three times and the undisputed world champion twice.

Jofre became the NBA bantamweight champion in 1960 and would achieve undisputed status in the following years. In total Jofre has made 8 title defenses, and is widely regarded as the greatest bantamweight of all time.

Ali became the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world in 1964, and won 9 consecutive titles before his boxing license was suspended in 1967, putting him out of action for the rest of the decade. Ali, however, would make a successful comeback in the next decade. Ali is widely recognized as the greatest heavyweight of all time.

So who were the top 10 pound for pound boxers of the 1960s? And where do Muhammad Ali, Eder Jofre, and Emile Griffith fit in?
