Connor Hults and Florida State took down North Carolina to end the season on the heels.
At the ballpark
OMAHA – It was supposed to be a two-game day at Charles Schwab Field, but because Mother Nature is such a JERK, we got one game on Tuesday. In that game, North Carolina was eliminated by a hot Florida State team with a 9-5 win.
All this means that on Wednesday we have to endure THREE games. The 10 a.m. game will be Kentucky vs. Florida to see who will stay in contention. There's rain in the forecast too, so we'll see if we get in all three.
