NCAA wrap notes: Miami, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Mich. St., Nova, Abmas, Adams Jr.

Notes are wrapping up quickly for the 2023-24 college basketball season.

• I may have said a little MiamiThe season took a nosedive after the loss to Kentucky, but did not have significant non-conference success against 2024 NCAA tournament teams (9-2 record with losses vs. Kentucky and Colorado). What looked like impressive wins over UCF, Georgia, and Kansas State didn't matter at the end of the year (all NIT teams), and even though the Canes beat Clemson in their second ACC game, the head coach. Jim LarranagaThe team lost ten straight conference games (including the ACC tournament) to end a difficult season.
• Ole Miss it was another team whose hot start ended up being meaningless.
