Denmark vs England confirmed squad news: Southgate makes no changes

Denmark and England will meet in Group C's biggest game on Thursday afternoon with three major points in each country's Euro 2024 campaigns.

A win for Denmark could see them top of the group and put the fate in their own hands as they head into their final group game against Serbia. While the Three Lions will enter the Round of 16 with a win in Frankfurt.

Gareth Southgate's men were disheartened in their opener against Serbia, despite a promising first half and a 1-0 win, with many wondering how far they can go in the tournament.

England will be looking to make a statement at Euro 2024 against Denmark and Southgate has decided to stick with the same team that faced Serbia last Sunday.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is still in the middle of the field, and the manager of England also insisted on playing Phil Foden on the left. The latter has been questioned by many fans and pundits alike so Southgate will hope it pays off.

Confirmed by England from 11

As for Denmark, Kasper Hjulmand's team played to a 1-1 draw with Slovenia last week despite being ahead in the game with Christian Eriksen's goal. The Man United star could have made it 2-0 in the first half but he paid the price by missing this golden opportunity.

The Danish international looked out of place in Stuttgart on Sunday and looked weak in the second half, similar to England.

The match between the two countries looks to be exciting and Hjulmand made one change from the match with Slovenia's Alexander Bah replacing Joakim Maehle at right back.

Confirmed Denmark starts at 11
