JJ Redick has accepted a four-year contract to be the next head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers. Rob Pelinka extended the offer this morning, and Redick has begun assembling an experienced staff.
Pelinka was convinced by Redick's strong relationship with the players and his high basketball IQ. He believes that surrounding Redick with a top-level coaching staff will help him adjust quickly to his first head coaching job, according to sources.
