Real Madrid star, Luka Modric, has once again raised the bar for Croatia as the 38-year-old gave his country the lead in the Group B clash with Italy.
The Croatians need to beat the Italians to progress to the Round of 16 at Euro 2024 as anything else could mean elimination.
The players who reached the finals of the 2018 World Cup were given the opportunity to go ahead with penalties but it was missed by Modric. After a stunning performance, the Real Madrid star scored after a loose ball after saving from Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The final 30 minutes of the match should make for exciting viewing as Croatia and Italy battle it out for a place in the next round.
