I repeat: Zero percent chance. They want to see the big three of Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal healthy and under (new coach) Mike Budenholzer.”
ESPNBrian Windhorst echoed Shams' words.
“It is because they are interested in tempting the Suns to try to trade Kevin Durant now. They don't want to do this later. They want to put this on the table to see if the Sun will be tempted,” said Windhorst on Wednesday Stand up about the Durant Rockets' run. “Now, Matt Ishbia, the owner of Langa, has been on record saying that we are bringing this back, we want to see these three stars healthy. Durant, as far as I know, has never requested a trade to Houston or anywhere else. Booker is fully invested in the Suns, but this move is a gamble. It is an obstacle for Langa to reconsider.”
