Golf Business News – Castore joins the top Elite Marketing Program
Global Edition
Most notably, the UK's largest golf services and marketing group, has announced a new three-year partnership with fast-growing sportswear brand Castore.
Castore will be joining Forest as an authorized supplier of the Elite Marketing Program (EMP), enabling Premier members to benefit from the full support of the golf retail industry's leading program. EMP's new partnership with Castore will be launched in the Spring and Summer of 2025 and run until the end of 2027.
Founded in 2015 by professional youth footballer Tom Beahon and former professional cricketer Phillip Beahon, the brand has since partnered with leading teams in many sports, including Red Bull Racing, the England cricket team and the German football team Bayer 04. Leverkusen.
“We are pleased to partner with Foremost Golf and its Elite Marketing Program,” commented Tom Beahon. “Ever since we entered the golf apparel space 18 months ago, the product distribution strategy has focused on the green grass channel, and it was a logical step in Castore's golf journey to partner with the Extreme Golf team and its members. We see Premium Golf as an important part of the brand's journey and future success in the golf apparel market.”
EMP is widely regarded as the best and most powerful marketing tool in golf marketing and the number of members participating in the program has continued to grow, with over 15% more members using the service in the last three years; the number is now over 700.
“This is an exciting new partnership for EMP and Forward members”, said Chris Glenday, Forward's Head of Supplier Partnerships. “Castore will be one of the few apparel brands in our EMP that can bring complete digital and in-store support to our members. Castore is an ambitious brand and we look forward to new partnerships that will benefit Premier members.”
