Giant Unveils New Stone Rebellion Bike

Giant has launched a new generation of its bikes built with the Revolt frame, the Revolt Advanced Pro and the Revolt Advanced. Both series are built on redesigned frames that balance speed and efficiency with Revolt's characteristic controls.
The frames are accompanied by purpose-built components including handlebars, saddles, and WheelSystems developed specifically for rock climbing and racing. Both also feature innovative features such as internally routed cables and an easy-to-access storage compartment inside the down tube to carry tools, snacks and other essentials – perfect for your long gravel hikes.
The new lineup was created with input from Giant gravel racing experts. American Cole Paton and Australian Brendan Johnston, both leading competitors in the Life Time Grand Prix series, trained and raced prototype models in key events earlier this year. In June, Johnston rode his pre-production Revolt Advanced Pro to the finish at the Unbound Gravel 200, one of the most prestigious and competitive gravel events in the world.
Brendan Johnston recently took victory at the 2024 Australian Gravel National Championships.
New features
Quick and easy adjustments on Giant Revolt gravel bikes allow you to fine-tune your bike to the way you ride. A two-position flip chip located in the rear wheel stop changes the wheelbase, as well as the back-wheel clearance, so you can get the best performance of the bike depending on the terrain and your riding style. This integrated system consists of eccentric, offset hardware that can be easily loosened, removed, and turned to a longer or shorter setting using common tools.
A shorter wheelbase results in a faster, more agile ride quality. This is a good option for mixed terrain that includes paved roads with smooth, fast gravel and dirt. The responsive feel, combined with the narrow width (and light weight) of the tires, makes it a smart choice if speed, efficiency, and quick handling are preferred.
The long wheelbase extends the wheelbase, which adds stability on gravel and dirt. And with the addition of an extra rear tire (up to 53mm), it allows you to choose high-volume tires for added traction and control. Long terrain is a great option for riding with routes that include fast, twisty descents and tricky off-road climbs.
Added compliance
Lowered seatstays with narrow diameter tubes absorb road shock and vibration from all types of rock without sacrificing stability while cornering, sprinting, or climbing. Each model comes with Contact D-Fuse carbon handlebars and D-Fuse seatposts to help smooth rough tracks, improve control and reduce fatigue over long distances.

The Fuse seatpost features a D-shaped composite shaft that absorbs shock and vibration, producing a smooth ride quality to help reduce fatigue. The D-Fuse handlebars are made of D-shaped tubing similar to the D-Fuse seat design, which features a lightweight construction while offering superior vertical compliance compared to round handlebars for a smoother ride quality.
Riders can choose the included D-Fuse seatpost for a better fit or switch to a 30.9mm round post or dropper post.
Internal wiring and integration
Internally routed cables provide a clean, uncluttered cockpit aesthetic and improved aero performance. An easily accessible storage compartment inside the down tube allows you to safely carry tools, snacks, and other essentials. Integrated additional mounting on the top tube, fork, and rear dropout makes it easy to adjust with additional packs or weights.
