Chelsea have said they have yet to sign Leicester City's best player

Chelsea have completed the signing of midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City.

The England midfielder has been joined by his manager who guided him to the Championship title last season.

The 25-year-old has played his best football under the Italian manager who will guide him again next season but this time at Stamford Bridge.

Dewsbury-Hall scored 12 goals and assisted a further 14 in his most successful campaign.

However, the Blues have been told that they did not sign Leicester City's best player.

Football expert Gabriel Marcotti has revealed that the Premier League giants should have signed his Leicester City colleague Harry Winks.

He told ESPN:

“I mean Maresca must love him,” Marcotti said.

“It is not a huge amount of money that we can spend. Sure, why not?

Chelsea have launched midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

“I would have thought that, if he was going to repeat, Harry Winks would have been the person to sign him or someone who could do Harry Winks type of things. I'm not comfortable with Enzo (Fernandez) in the acting role. I don't think that is his position. And apparently, Dewsbury-Hall doesn't and neither does Caicedo. Gallagher or.

“I think this means Gallagher is gone, but I think we've seen that happen.”

Chelsea have signed the versatile midfielder from Leicester

It remains to be seen how Dewsbury-Hall will do next season and in a much tougher league this time around.

However, he has the support and backing of a manager, who knows his game well and will be able to use the midfielder in a way that maximizes his potential.

The England midfielder will add goals and creativity to Chelsea's midfield and provide attacking players with better scoring opportunities.
