What you need to know
A tight leaderboard at the John Deere Classic halfway point, with CT Pan and Aaron Rai leading by one shot at 14 under over their competitor, Harry Hall, who is 13 under. Just behind Hall is a group of six players who are 12 under par, including amateur Luke Clanton.
Rai is looking for his first PGA Tour win after finishing second in last week's Rocket Mortgage Classic. Pan has one win on his resume, the 2019 RBC Heritage. Hall also has yet to win on the PGA Tour, but has five top-fives and four top-10s.
The trio will play together in the final round on Saturday at 12:45 pm ET.
