Chelsea have completed the signing of versatile striker Sandy Baltimore from Paris Saint-Germain on a four-year deal.
Baltimore leaves PSG after playing nearly 200 games for the club, and has also been capped 28 times by the French national team so far.
The 24-year-old becomes Chelsea's second signing of the season after Emma Hayes, with Sonia Bampastor now in charge.
Speaking to Chelsea's club channels, Baltimore said: “I'm very happy to join Chelsea. It feels amazing. I've always wanted to play for Chelsea and now look, it's happened!
“I have played with Sonia in France. It is true that he is a very strong manager with a very good record. He is a great coach and has won a lot.
“When I was at PSG, the matches against Lyon were always difficult. They were always very good matches. I am very happy to work together with Sonia at Chelsea.”
Baltimore is not the only French international on Chelsea's books, with Eve Perisset an integral part of the Blues' first team, while playing alongside Ashley Lawrence at PSG.
“I've known Eve for a long time,” added Baltimore. “We played together at PSG and we see each other a lot with the national team, and now we are both here playing for Chelsea. We spoke before I signed for the club and he gave me a lot of good advice. He told me that if I come to Chelsea I will really like it.
“It's important for me to have that relationship when I come to a new team. They can help me get used to things like the language and living in a new city and things on the field.
“Knowing them makes me more confident when I play. It will help me feel free to focus on football.”
