Leeds United are set to lose Max Wober this summer

Leeds United defender Max Wober is set to leave the club this summer, with Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach showing a strong interest in his services.

According to Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg, Leeds are seeking a fee of around £10.2 million for the Austrian defender.

Borussia Monchengladbach want to re-sign the Leeds United defender

Wober, who spent last season on loan at Monchengladbach, made a huge impact, prompting the German club to re-sign him.

During his loan spell, Wober made 27 appearances, contributing two goals and three assists, showing his importance to the team.

Despite Monchengladbach's interest, they find Leeds' asking price too high and could opt for another loan.

The club have informed Wober of their intention to re-sign him on loan, in the hope of negotiating a mutually agreeable deal.

Meanwhile, Leeds United have strengthened their defense by signing Joe Rodon from Tottenham on a permanent transfer following his impressive loan spell last season.

As the transfer window continues, Wober's future remains a topic of interest, with Monchengladbach eager to bring him back and Leeds looking to finalize the club's best deal.
