“Yes, for Nick, Nick is a very good young player, and I will not play, I will not go into every game. I have not seen the reports, I have heard.
Of course, obviously, I knew there was, you know, some frustration with Nick on his behalf. But we consider Nick a great player. And there's a good chance for Nick here and we need him to be a good player for us.
So I won't get to guess any community back and forth. We'll leave it at that and continue to move forward until we reach, what was the second half about the striker, about the forward team?”
Reporter: “Yes, the top team.”
Treliving: “Yes, as I said, today is one day so, the position as I look at it, we have added some players at the back. You know, we added, we added, you know, our goal setting, we added depth and goal.
You're not going to get everything done, you know, you're not going to get everything done in one day. So we will continue to look at ways we can grow the team going forward.
You know, we think we have young players coming but we don't want, we don't want to start signing young players if they're not ready. If those players get, and I know everybody is happy, obviously (Easton) Cowan and (Fraser) Minten's. I don't want to, I hate to name names because I leave the boys. But you know, we have young players, and the Marlies.
At the end of the day, you know, they've got to prove they're ready to play in the Mans League, too, and that's what training camps are. We think they're great little players, but we certainly won't put them in a position to fail.
So we have a lot of summer left. We have a lot of training camp and the preseason left to make those decisions, but we will be looking at our team moving forward, moving forward. “
