West Ham have signed defender Kilman from Wolves
West Ham have completed the £40million signing of Max Kilman from Wolves, bringing the defender together with new manager Julen Lopetegui.
Lopetegui managed Kilman during his time at Molineux and made the midfielder's signature a priority after taking over at the London Stadium.
The 27-year-old has signed a seven-year contract with the Hammers and is determined to start.
He told the club's website: 'It's great to be a West Ham United player.
“When I noticed the club's interest, it was an opportunity I was willing to pursue, so I couldn't be happier to be here.
“I really enjoyed working with Julen when he was at Wolves – he's a great coach and I learned a lot from him, and I'm confident I'll continue to develop as a player under his management here.”

Kilman added: “West Ham is a great club and I feel this is the next natural step forward in my career.
“Playing in front of passionate fans, with 62,500 fans packed into the London Stadium every week, is something I'm very happy about.
“I have spoken to Julen and Tim for a long time [Steidten], I was very inspired by the team's ambition and plans for the future. They want to make a big noise here at West Ham and as a new player coming in, it's amazing to hear that.
“I'm looking forward to getting off work and preparing for an exciting season ahead.”
Technical director Steidten said: “We're delighted to have secured Max's signature – he's been one of our top defensive targets this transfer window, so we couldn't be happier to end the deal to bring him to the West. Ham United.
“This is a critical and significant moment for West Ham United – the signing of a proven English Premier League defender in his prime.”
