Davis Thompson won the first PGA Tour event of his career at the John Deere Classic by shooting a final-round seven-under-par 64 at TPC Deere Run to reach an impressive 28-under total for the tournament. He won by four shots over Michael Thorbjornsen, freshman Luke Clanton, and CT Pan.
