Rodri says Spain are not afraid of France ahead of the last four
Spain midfielder Rodri says his side have no fears about France ahead of their Euro 2024 clash.
The two powerhouses will meet in the first semi-final of the tournament to decide who will face the Netherlands or England in Sunday's final.
Rodri has been the heart of Luis de la Fuente's side so far in Germany and was the man of the match in their extra-time win over the hosts last week.
The Manchester City youngster says Spain is in it to win but will show France the respect it deserves in Munich.
Speaking ahead of Tuesday's game, he said: “France, if not the best international team, is one of the two best.
“A few years ago they showed their talent. They have a body that we know about.

“They can attack, they are good on the ball… they have a lot of skills.
“We have no fear. We are here to win the tournament.
“We are humble enough to know what we have to do when we face these opponents – and that is what we will do.”
Spain has been one of the powerhouses of the international arena in the 21st century, winning the World Cup and two Euros back-t0-back between 2008 and 2012.
The likes of Iniesta, Sergio Busquets and Xavi are long gone but Rodri has been a worthy replacement for the legendary figures.

La Roja will be without a few key players due to the suspension against the French, but that's not something Rodri is worried about.
He continued: “In 2008 (pictured) it was the first time I watched the EURO properly. I remember being a fan and wanting Spain to win so badly.
“Then they won the World Cup and another EURO. They started this feeling that we can be champions. We want to do the same.

“As you have seen throughout the competition, there are many important players who have come to our team.
“In the quarter-final against Germany, Mikel Merino and Dani Olmo did not start but decided for us.
“This speaks of the importance of our whole team. We have some important misses but that means the guys coming in will do more, they will run more.
“That's just the way it is. I'm sure the team won't notice the difference and we're very confident.”
