The Golden State Warriors are facing the end of an era as Klay Thompson left for the Dallas Mavericks on a lucrative three-year, $50 million contract, ending his 13-year tenure with the Dubs.
The move also marks a big change for the two Splash Brothers. Steph Curry, who is currently preparing for the 2024 Paris Olympics with Team USA, expressed his feelings about Thompson's departure.
“We would have liked to save the context and finish together … if Klay is headed to Dallas – it's tough,” Curry said, via Malika Andrews.
