A bid of €20m is being prepared for Semih Kilicsoy

There could be the right transfer move at Fulham this summer.

Bayern Munich are believed to be struggling to get Joao Palhinha to join them, while CaughtOffside's sources with knowledge of Fulham's transfer plans suggest the West Londoners are preparing to make an initial bid of €20m for Besiktas' Turkish striker Semih Kilicsoy.

The Premier League club's scouts were apparently hoping to follow the 18-year-old's progress in the European Championship, but he only played one minute against the Netherlands according to WhoScored.

Fulham want Semih Kilicsoy

Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham scouts had previously followed the player's performances, but none came forward with a confirmed bid for his services.

However, it is understood that the striker wants a move to the Premier League as a priority, and his representatives are believed to have told Besiktas to accept Kilicsoy's offer.

That may seem like a foregone conclusion, as transfermarkt suggests that his market value is much lower, at 12 million euros.

In any case, negotiations have not taken place and until Fulham have signed the player's contract, the move will not be considered closed.

The manager, Marco Silva, has done an impressive job during his time at Craven Cottage, and despite losing Tosin Adarabioyo this summer to neighbors Chelsea, he still expects his side to compete.

Acquiring a talent like Semih Kilicsoy will reinforce the idea that Silva continues to build something special now and in the future of the club, and if the player can hit the ground running when he signs, there is a good chance the value will rise quickly.
